Gateway

In this series I’m looking for different ways for water depiction, the splashes, the eddies, the foam, the trail of movement. Swimmers get propel, glide, spin, float, defy gravity, fly.

I chose a palette with a predominance of white, an almost surgical green, a pink that tends towards orange and the definition of the figures in black and white, like a comic, a combination that for me refers to the future imagined in the 70s.

Like a mental cocktail, all these aspects came together and resulted in the title of the Series: “Gateway”, like the 1977 science fiction novel by Frederik Pohl.
